A Note From The President
On behalf of the Association for California Governmental Human Resources Professionals (“CalGovHR”), it is my distinct privilege and honor to invite you to join us as a sponsor at the 2025 CalGovHR Annual Conference and Expo™ in the beautiful Sonoma wine country between March 12 - 14, 2025.
The theme for the 2024 conference is “The Future of Work.” As an organization we are committed to helping attendees increase their knowledge of the latest trends in HR, and helping them stay on the forefront of what’s new in our profession.

With the expansion of AI in the workplace to help us work more efficiently, we could think of no better topic than looking at the future of work and help to our attendees expand their knowledge in this exciting area.
For 2025 we have added some additional sponsorship opportunities which you will find on page 13 & 14 of this brochure. Based on feedback from you, our sponsors, we added these additional opportunities to help you increase your exposure during the conference. One item of note is the attendee bags for the conference. In the past sponsor have helped to offset the cost of these CalGovHR branded bags for our attendees. Based on your feedback we now offer a new
option for attendee bags that will feature your logo exclusively. This will allow you to showcase your brand and have it in front of our attendees long after the conference is over. If you have other ideas for additional sponsorship opportunities you would like to see in the future, please feel free to reach out to me directly so that we can consider adding them. Who Attends The Annual Conference?
As a professional, non-profit human resources organization, we have held several names since our inception back in 1988. In 2017 we expanded our reach and changed our name to CalGovHR to reflect our commitment to public sector human resources throughout California. Our mission was to bring quality, cost-effective, training to public sector HR professionals to help them grow in their roles as human resources professionals regardless of their role in HR. We provide comprehensive training through all areas or human resources including Talent Acquisition, Classification & Compensation, Labor Negotiations and Relations, Leaves, Benefits, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and much, much more. We also provide annual employment law updates as well as workers' compensation updates annually to our members for free. Your sponsorship helps us fund our programs throughout the year.
Our conferences and trainings are attended by human resources professionals from across California, regardless of position, and our participants included professionals working for small or large jurisdictions, working in cities, counties, or state government, school districts (k-12), courts, universities and colleges, non-profits, special districts (water, wastewater, fire), and much more.

About Our "All Inclusive" Sponsorhip
CalGovHR is pleased to offer a one-of-a-kind “all inclusive” sponsorship opportunity, which includes: Complimentary registration and President Reception’s Passes for two (2) participants, exhibitor’s space, acknowledgements in marketing materials, and a full-page color ad in the Program.
The Conference will feature an Exhibition Hall on Thursday, March 13, 2025, so sponsors will have an opportunity to meet and connect with attendees throughout the program, followed by an evening of FUN at the President’s Reception and Dinner Banquet. In addition, dedicated break times will be scheduled to ensure that all exhibitors receive maximum exposure.

Your company will be announced in the program as the break sponsor, as well as receiving additional recognition at the conference.
Conference Banner
Your Company banner can be hung at the venue in the Registration foyer of the conference. This is an opportunity for you to have your company name in a high traffic area. Please note, you will need to ship your banner to the site for hanging up by hotel staff. This opportunity does not include the creation of the banner, and is the responsibility of the sponsor.
Lunch Sponsor (2 Available)
You will receive special acknowledgement in the program, as well as additional announcements during the conference. You will also have 15 minutes during lunch where you can speak to our attendees about your products and services.
Notepads & Pens
Sponsor will provide company branded notepads and pens to be stuffed in the attendee bags for the conference. This item is limited to 1 sponsor. Sponsor is responsible for having items shipped to the venue ahead of time so they can be stuffed in attendee bags.
